Reality Show couldn’t have got better than this! After 2 weeks of slow drama, this week started with a bang. It all started with Rahul’s and Monica’s nomination. Then allegation on grouping, Sambhavna Seth acting as NAARAD MUNI and fighting with Rahul and Monica and if that was not enough comments of dress sense, food, cleaning the house, there is a bit of controversy in each of these.

This week started with nomination drama and before the nomination could start there were speculations! Sambhavna Seth famous for spreading rumors, went to Rahul and Monica and alerted them of their chances of being nominated. And immediately then she went to Raja and Zulfi and alerted them of their possible chance of being nominated. By doing this, she was able to secure her position and Rahul Mahajan and Monica Bedi were nominated.

Raja Choudury could feel that something was wrong and immediately called both Monica/Rahul and Sambhavna. When asked, Sambhavna denied spreading any such news and then there was a rain of acquisitions and slang languages. Sambhavna was doing what she is best known for! Spreading controversy and opening big mouth! Other inmate who seems to be taking time off the limelight were happy saying let them fight and get eliminated.

Guess that was not enough for Bigg Boss, as they wanted more spice, so asked the Team to choose a NETA (politician) who will look after the affairs of the house. Raja and Sambhavna were the 2 candidates for the post. When Sambhavna wanted Rahul to do campaign for her, he immediately wanted Monica to be the leader and he could campaign only for her. This irked Sambhavna and again her array of slang words started. Just pondering what would Bigg Boss 2 would be without Sambhavna? She should get the credit for controversy, footage and TRP. Ultimately Raja Choudhury won the election. Bigg Boss had the election in secret ballot, but the ballots were opened in front of everyone. Bigg Boss wanted to create more misunderstandings between the inmates!

But wait, that’s not the end! Eshaan Bhai too commented on Payal Rohatgi on her dress, saying if she wears short dress she might not be able to work in the Kitchen! That sparked the bollywood actress and she immediately asked for an apology! Ketki Dave who was heading the Kitchen Department also had contribution to fight and fiery discussion. When Raja asked her to keep the kitchen clean she went babbling for few minutes before she showed Raja the rules. Ketki argued why would she and Eleena do all the jobs and the rest enjoy the stay. Are they the SERVANTS in BIGG BOSS? These words were enough to get Raja fumed and he immediately shouted at Eleena for doing all the work. A senti Eleena went crying and was later consoled by the Kanhaiya of the house - Rahul Mahajan!

Apart from all these, Raja seems to be playing a perfect game to keep his team (Ashutosh, Eshaan, Zulfi) inside the house and slowly get others out of the house. He hinted that he will use his SPECIAL NOMINATION power to nominate Sambhavna, but seems like his recent tiff with Ketki might have her in the NOMINATION!

Bigg Boss 2 saw Monica Bedi out of the house this week. This news came as no surprise as Rahul Mahajan is a very strong contestant. Probably that’s the reason Rahul has been nominated twice by the inmates in fear of their survival chances. Monica who stayed at Bigg Boss house for 3 weeks thanked Bigg Boss for giving opportunity for a starting her second innings career.

Monica Bedi was nominated by 5 members of the house including Raja Choudhury, Ketki Dave, Eshaan Quershi, Zulfi Syed and Payal Rohatgi. Sambhavna Seth, Ashutosh and Eleena were not allowed to nominate because of the fact that despite warnings they broke Bigg Boss rules. Everyone pointed Monica’s aloofness as a reason for nominating her. Monica however says that she is a shy girl and she takes time to open up with people. She continued saying that she starting bonding well with Raja Choudhury and Ashutosh, but guess that was too late.

Shilpa Shetty asked if her purpose of coming to Bigg Boss was solved or not. On that she said that it has just been 3 weeks and probably 45 minutes footage a day might have not been enough to project her real good image. She however feels that she can start a new life outside with new house, new career options and new good friends.

We have heard that the Mumbai Police was after Colors Channel for getting uncensored footage of Bigg Boss activities as they suspect Monica might have disclosed about her relationship with underworld don Abu Salem. Monica also seems to have given interview in length to Showtime Magazine that details everything about her relationship with Abu Salem. So she might be grilled by the Mumbai Police about her revelations in the house and to the magazine. Infact Abu Salem too has expressed his interest to see Bigg Boss so that he can see what Monica discloses on one of the biggest reality show, the Big Brother India, Bigg Boss!

On other side, Rahul Mahajan now seems to have taken a lesson from his 2 survivals and have started bonding with other members of the house. But considering his huge popularity and chances of getting huge votes, the inmates will continue to target him and nominate him again in weeks to come. But it will be interesting to see with whom he will do Raas-Leela as his real Radha Monica is out. With Payal he seems to be very less involved and with Sambhavna Seth he just had a huge fight. Probably Bigg Boss will soon filter in new guest to keep the Leela on! We gotta wait and watch! As of now, Rahul Mahajan can breathe and hope he is not nominated for the next week eviction. So who’s number on the cards? With Raja’s recent fight with Ketki, it seems Ketki Dave and Sambhavna Seth are the next targets! What say?

Bindaas Channel Reality show “Dadagiri - Beat the bullies” recently came into news with a contestant slapping one of the bullies (a girl). The contestant justifies the slap by saying how can the bully slap him on a national TV and that’s why he immediately replied by returning back the slap. Immediately the show organisers, other bullies (there are four bullies and one host) came into rescue and the poor contestant was showered with blows and slang languages. Strange enough there was no beep beep sound on those words (see video below). Where are the censors? Are the producers and organisers taking everything for a ride just to be ahead of its competitors and gain popularity?

Dadagiri - Beat the bullies was conceptualised to boost the confidence of the youth and to fight against ragging. While the initial few episodes was more on asking mind-boggling questions, slowly it went rough with use of slang words and ultimately the slap incident which triggered controversy. The bully “Esha Bhaskar” was labeled as “bi**h” by the viewers who did not like the concept of the show. They said that they were earlier intrigued and attracted by the show but they felt frustrated after watching contestants perform the task. They added that you simply can’t perform the task they ask you to do and the way they embarrass the contestants by using the words like f**k you and other slang languages does not do better. This show cannot be watched with your family. One of the viewers added that her mother questioned him is that what you do and use at college? Was shame for me!

“The show teaches you to be violent and aggressive” says Divya. She adds that you need not be violent to raise your morale and confidence. The show seems to be using dirty tricks to catch attention of the viewers. Moreover the losers are asked to eat awkward food from smelly containers, which is disgusting and how can these increase your confidence? When spoken to a counselor, she says the show generate much animosity. There are better ways to boost confidence. People getting slapped on the show teach children to be ruthless. There are positive ways of making youngster confident. The task on the show makes you harsh and bitter.

Similar incidents were reported from “Kaun Jeetaga Bollywood ka Ticket” where Chetan Hansraj allegedly slapped a fellow contestant. In Star Voice of India - 2, Ismail Darbar broke the coffee mug in anger when his favorite contestants were voted out of the show. There are similar tricks on other shows and with their publicity footage they tend to draw the audience, many of which seem fake. We are not against fake publicity or drama; however there should be some standard, morale and censorship to avoid such dirty tricks on television.

Was Ishmeet murdered? How could he die in a swimming pool? There is no detailed investigation in his death. That’s what the parent and relatives of Ishmeet Singh, winner of Star Voice of India could not digest. They themselves took the investigation in hand and whatever info they got was shocking.

Ishmeet Singh was to perform in Maldives on 1st August 2008 along with Harshit and other members from India, total 7 members. But he arrived Maldives four days before the show, which itself raised the doubts. Ishmeet’s uncle asks why organisers would bear so much charges of keeping the artists for 4 days before the show. Accordingly to him the resort charges were US$ 200+ per day. On this organisers said that they wanted Ishmeet to get acquainted with Maldives.

Secondly there was no publicity of Ishmeet Singh’s presence in Maldives and that he is performing on a big Show. Star Voice of India was a popular show in Maldives as Star Plus is aired in Maldives as well. Normally the organisers would use Ishmeet’s name as a PUBLICITY STUNT for promoting the show and making it as a success. Instead no one knew about that and even the Hotel Authorities were unaware of Ishmeet presence. They said they knew Ishmeet Singh as a guest but not as Ishmeet Singh who won Star Voice of India.

The Parents of Ishmeet Singh met Prime Minister and is supposed to present recorded conversation between them and the local organisers from Maldives, which according to them can give them some leads. They demanded CBI inquiry and want the world to know the real facts behind his death.

Sambhavna Seth is the Biggest Planner in Bigg Boss Season 2 show and that was revealed when all the members were trying to analyze why and what went wrong last week in the nomination, issues in the house and why group has formed inside the house. Divide and rule (or divide and let them vote and fight) is what Sambhavna did and has been pretty successful in that. However, when her secrets were out, the other inmates could just ponder what a big planner she is!

Sambhavna Seth was in the danger zone from 1st week because she was quite loud & bold in her talks and also used slang languages during her discussions, which irked many members including the female contestants. First week she had arguments with Sanjay Nirupam and second week with Rahul Mahajan, Monica Bedi and Rakhee Vijan. Both the weeks she was in the danger zone, however somehow she missed being amongst the two top nominations. In the third week she started the main game plan, which was based on age-old theory yet very effective - Divide and Rule.

Just before the nomination for week # 3, she virtually created the group inside the house with Rahul, Monica, Payal and Eleena on one side and Zulfi Syed, Raja Choudhury, Ashutosh and Eshaan Quershi on other group. Ketki Dave and Debojit were neutral but she knew they will not vote for her and will vote against either of the group. So the drama started!

She first went to Monica and told her that they (Rahul and her) are in the hit list that week giving all indications that the other group of Raja, Zulfi will vote against them. She immediately got the sympathy of Monica for revealing the truth. Then she went to Raja, Zulfi and Ashutosh and told that Raja and Zulfi are the hit list. Both the groups without knowing the facts nominated each other and ultimately Rahul and Monica were nominated with maximum number of votes.

When the truth came out she blamed Monica for lying as she knew that she will be the one who has to leave the house that week and that’s what happened.

But the story does not end. With the truth revealed, she has another game plan. She now knows that Ketki and other group will vote against Raja Choudhury for being too rude and dominating power in the house, she slowly got Eshaan Quershi to her side and asked him to nominate the Raja group. This way, the Rahul group will nominate Raja Group, Eshaan will nominate one from each group and Raja will nominate against the Rahul group. So who goes safe? Sambhavna AGAIN!!

But with the release of Bigg Boss uncensored footage last week, it clearly shows that Raja Choudhury and Ashutosh has a bigger plan to secure them. This was revealed when Raja did apologize Monica Bedi for nominating her and asking Sambhavna to apologize at the same time, but on other hand he said that this is just the drama so that Rahul group is totally against Sambhavna.

Rakhi Sawant entered bollywood at the tender age of 14 when she was offered to do an item number opposite Govinda in “Joru ka Ghulam” way back in 2000. She has moved on since. Controversies are like her second skin, some people hate controversies in their lives but talk about milking controversies and making that work in your favour, that’s Rakhi Sawant for you.

It was in 2003 that she got mileage as a hot item girl with the song ‘mohabbat hai mirchi’ from the not-so-successful movie ‘Chura liya hai tumne’. A couple of item songs later, Rakhi realized that if she has too hit big, she has to try something different, thats when the reality shows happened, her brazen character and tantrums was just what the reality shows needed. ‘Nach Baliye’ and ‘Bigg Boss’ - reality shows in which she took part had heavy doses of her drama onscreen, lots of tears (not sure it they were real) , crafty arguments and desperate attempt to network, but believe it or not, even if she made a fool of herself- people were buying into it. Both these shows recorded high TRPs partly to the fizz which Rakhi Sawant added to these shows.

Kissa kiss ka – the now infamous episode where Punjabi singer Mika planted a mouthful onto Rakhi sawant has had its share of headlines, infact way beyond for what its worth, but like every other incident featuring Rakhi Sawant, it helped her grab media space. Lot of us would love to hate her, but it’s that angst against Rakhi Sawant which has helped her to the success she enjoys today. Watch the moment when Mika struck gold …

There was a surprise nomination this week at Bigg Boss 2. Rahul Mahajan is not nominated; probably his change of attitude after Monica Bedi’s exit has shifted focus on other members. Payal Rohatgi was bound to be nominated for her spat with some members of the house and precisely that’s what happened. Ketki Dave was the next as she was not only nominated by house mates but also by Raja Choudhury who had the power to nominate one member. Eleena (Alina) was bound to be nominated as she was over-doing house work. Zulfi was nominated as he seems to be more quite and cannot get involved much inside the house.

The nomination came as a shock to Payal Rohatgi who was riding safe with the entire focus on Rahul Mahajan and Monica Bedi. She seems to be getting irritated with her name being nominated and kept asking Rahul why she was nominated! She also agreed that she was doing all she could to be in the good books of the family. She, however, got into spat with Sambhavna Seth and claimed that Seth is doing all those stupid/cheap acts to get footage.

Ketki Dave was also expecting her nomination as she was in bad discussions with other members and everyone claimed that she is dominating over everyone. She, however, feels that she was just trying to be herself and having a strong fan following she might get through this time.

Eleena (Alina) was on safe side and had no issues with anyone, but inmates probably thought that her safe game process might cost them the eviction. Eleena seems to be shocked but pretending to be cool and says she will continue to be like the way she is.

Zulfi Syed feels with four members in the nomination, it will be a mystery as to who will be voted out. He further said to Rahul, who was begging for votes from public (on camera) that people are smart and will not vote for people who are begging. That might have irked Rahul, but somewhere he feels that Payal had low chances this week.

Bigg Boss 2 has all the drama to retain its viewers. First it was politics, election and voting and now a school setup where students and teachers have to attend the school at the scheduled time and everyday report has to be submitted to the principal. What’s funny though is that even the dresses are Shorts and Shirts for the boys including neck tie (elastic one) and Shirt and Frock for the girls with hair ribbons.

Ashutosh is the principal of the school and looks quite funny with coat pant and big broad classes. Ketki Dave is the Vice principal and also the PT teacher. She is dressed up in simple sari. The other teacher panel consists of Payal Rohatgi as dance teacher, Debojit as music teacher and Eshaan Quershi as Poetry teacher.

As per the rules of the school, students need to attend the class at a given time, should wear proper school uniform, and should polish their shoes and what more have to even carry school bag, lunch boxes and water bottle. Couldn’t have got funnier to see Rahul, Raja and Zulfi Syed in Bermuda shorts and Sambhavna Seth with her hairs tied with blue ribbon.

But what was funny was the music recital where the teacher had to control the laughter in the class. Zulfi was totally be-sura and Eleena specially could not contain her laughter. Similarly in the dance, Payal was trying her best to get the students steps for Bharatnatyam, but except for Sambhavna all else had hard time.

However, the best part was that the Big Boss inmates were taking everything in sporting manner. Raja Choudhury even went a step ahead and during the break fooled Rahul and pulled down his shorts in front of other inmates, claiming that he use to do the same during his school days.

Probably one day at Bigg Boss where we had no controversy and more fun. Seems like whatever the contestants said in the beginning that we should live like one big joint family is now working out! Or did I speak too soon? Watch out today what drama gets on at Bigg Boss!

Ever since Payal Rohatgi is nominated at Bigg Boss house, she is doing everything to get the attention, the footage so that she can get the magical votes. This time there are four nominations at Bigg Boss (read nominations ) and Payal is one of them. Payal is seen more in skimpy dresses, seems to be flirting and dancing with all other inmates (beside getting soft with Rahul Mahajan) and also she is found swimming all the time, again to get the camera attention!

Payal nomination came as a shock to her and she seems to be running around the house asking everyone what went wrong. Not getting the right answer, she seems to be asking Rahul if her closeness with Rahul is the reason for nomination. She openly said that she will now ’skin show’ to make sure she gets maximum footage and her fans vote for her.

Every now and then she speaks over the camera and makes a point that she will be in swim wear and be in the swimming pool. But interestingly Bigg Boss seems to be having other plans. All her Swimming drama is not yet shown on the week day’s 45-minutes episode, which might hurt Payal and her so called ‘fans’. Probably Bigg Boss will keep that footage for the uncensored version, which is shown after the eviction.

There was also footage of her asking Raja that she regularly gets massage when she is in Mumbai and it has been over 4 weeks at Bigg Boss that she is without any massage, giving all indications that she wants to get body massage. And the next footage we see is that Rahul is massaging her. So finally she is down to her SKIN business to get attraction. Why blame Sambhavna to be cheap? While Sambhavna is rude with her words, Payal knows what to show, what to get

Though Payal has less chances of getting eliminated as Alina (Eleena) is the one who is less popular, but then who knows? With Raja, Eshaan and Ashutosh already sensing dirty tricks by Payal, she might well be out next week! Keep watching!

Dus ka Dum (10 ka Dum) popular game show on Sony Entertainment Channel will have quite a good celebrity guests this week as it approaches its grand finale. The show is hosted by none other than Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and he seems to enjoy the new job! In one of the interviews he said that this is the best platform for him to interact with the public, his fans and celebrity friends. And guess who are joining him this week?

Rakhi Sawant bollywood ‘item girl’ and now anchoring a Chat Show on Zoom TV will be on the game show this week and is said to have proposed Salman Khan on the sets. As per reports, she is said to have told Salman “Marry me!” and even produced a ring. Hmmm, interesting!

Rakhi and Salman had a small difference during Nach Baliye 3 finale (celebrity based dance show), where Rakhi walked off the show and Salman was the chief guest. She lost to Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali in the finals and cried foul in the voting. However, Salman seems to have kept those differences aside as she was invited for the show.

On the show Rakhi was competing with the comedian Shakeel Siddiqui, who amused Salman a lot. Shakeel Siddiqui hails from Pakistan and rose to fame with the theatre shows and one of the famous being Bakra Kisto Pe, where he performed with none other than Umer Sharif. In India he was one of the contestants at Comedy Circus, again Stand-up Comedy Show on Sony Entertainment Channel and currently hosting the show with Shruti Seth.

Rani Mukerjee will also grace the grand finale of the show Dus ka Dum and she will be with Lara Dutta. During the game, Salman asked a question, “Have you heard of two actors fighting…” and she immediately took the recent fight between Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan (on Shahrukh alleged comments on Salman and Ash at Katrina’s birthday party). Rani said, she likes both the stars and want these differences to go. What did Salman reply? Hmmm, Sab bol dunga toh show mein kya dekhoge?

Will be interesting to watch the finale as it promises to bring out the best of the four celebrities. As for Salman Khan, he has proved again that whatever he does he does the best!
